In its fourth year, the Auburn Film Seminar - now called Classics at the Carriage House- will give students an overview of classic and influential Hollywood Cinema from the late 1930s to the early 1960s. This year, the film series will feature classic American films, International cinema, and an early-animated classic.
The class meets once a month, on the first Monday of each month, from September through May. The class is held at 7 pm, with an introductory lecture by Michael Reiff. Students can sign up in advance, or pay at the door, $5 admission.
Week 5: Henri-Georges Clouzot’s – The Wages of Fear
History Book Club meets on the second Wednesday of the month at 7 pm. Members discuss non-fiction works of history on local, national and global themes. Participation is free and members can choose to attend any or all of the meetings. Click here for more details
