We’re pleased to announce a new event at the Cayuga Museum!
You’re probably familiar with the stories of the famous figures that are interred in Fort Hill Cemetery, but what about the other stories hidden before our eyes?
On Sunday June 9th, join the Cayuga Museum on a fascinating tour of the Fort Hill Cemetery, where knowledgeable staff and volunteers will give voices to the unheard occupants found within.
Arrive at the Carriage House Theater any time between 12:30 and 2:00 PM to receive a guidebook that will detail the stories being told. Attendees will then take a walking tour to Fort Hill, and meet guides stationed throughout the Cemetery that will unpack these intriguing stories, and then return to the Carriage House when you’re finished.
Guests have the opportunity to tour Fort Hill at their own pace. Guides will be available from 1:00-3:00 PM. In addition, a reception will be hosted at the Carriage House Theater from 12:30-4:00 PM.
Chef4Rent food truck will be on site serving their unique cuisine, and admission includes one drink ticket for the Carriage House bar.
Admission will be $15 for Museum Members, $20 for Non-Members, and $5 for Children ages 12-18. Children ages 12 and under will be admitted for free.
