word, revisited featuring John Crowley
October 12, 2017
His featured presentation for “word, revisited” on October 12 is titled, "You Can Tell a Book by Its Cover" -- based on his many years as a book collector. He will center his talk on Mark Twain's The Innocents Abroad (1869), which happens to be the only rare book from the nineteenth century that he still owns.
word, revisited is a collaborative bi-monthly program between the Cayuga Museum, aaduna, and Olive Trees, exploring original writing in all its diverse, intriguing, provocative, and exciting forms featuring writers, poets, and other creative individuals who primarily use words to define and construct their artistry and means of expression. All events staged at the Carriage House Theater at 6 PM. Admission $3/person
Doors open at 5:30 PM for open mic sign-up; open mic convenes following a brief intermission after the featured speaker’s Q&A.
