Eileen McHugh came to the Cayuga Museum from the Chico Museum in northern California in 2000. McHugh earned a double major in History and English from SUNY Oswego, and spent many years as an advertising copywriter. She believes passionately in the importance of museums as places of learning and stewards of cultural heritage. McHugh helped steer the Cayuga Museum to full physical accessibility in 2012.
McHugh is also a canine enthusiast and avid knitter.
