This is what we know…this is what we share…

YOU.
In quiet times you take writing instrument to paper, or you open that special file on your computer, or you speak the words in your brain so many times that the piece haunts you even as you sleep.

YOU.
Express your creativity in words, strung together in stanzas or paragraphs or in a unique format that conveys what you feel, all too often in secret; your words are what you see, what you need to express if only to yourself.

YOU.
Do not think your expressions are good enough to share.  You doubt yourself.  But, you know in your heart that you need more.  You desire feedback.  Motivation to push forward.

YOU.
Need a safe place. A nurturing place. A place where you are surrounded by other poets, writers, readers, people who know you and who understand the dynamics and apprehensions of presenting creative and personal work.

YOU.
Mark your calendar for the 2nd or 4th Thursday of March, April, May or June.  Get your friends together.  Enjoy an evening of welcoming and listening to a featured speaker and feel renewed and motivated as YOU take the stage.  Become part of a different OPEN MIC experience.  word, revisited is your forum; your space to feel comfortable to express your inner spirit.  Convened at the carriage house theater at Cayuga Museum in Auburn, NY.  Admission $3/person.  Come and listen to a featured speaker and then let others listen as you present your creativity.

word, revisited and its OPEN MIC is presented by the Cayuga Museum, Olive Trees, and aaduna. We look forward to seeing you on a second or fourth Thursday evening (starting on March 9th)

Doors open at 5:30 PM. OPEN MIC sharers are encouraged to sign up before 6 PM for an available space.  This means

Take the step.  We will nurture you!
