The Case Research Laboratory is an important part of the Cayuga Museum. Besides the original equipment used in Theodore Case’s development of sound on film, the museum holds a large archival collection related to the lab. Notebooks, purchase receipts, patents, correspondence, and more help us understand what was happening in the lab. Your adoption will help us purchase the required archival folders and boxes for continued preservation of this collection.
The Cayuga Museum of History and Art engages the community to appreciate local history, promotes the arts, and educates individuals about the invention of sound on film through the operation of the Museum, Case Research Laboratory, and Carriage House Theater.
