The Hands-On History Camp in Auburn, NY is back! The Cayuga Museum, Harriet Tubman National Historical Park, Seward House Museum, and Seymour Library are teaming up again to bring history to life for children ages 8-10 in the sixth year of the annual Hands-On History Camp.
Campers will play historic games, enjoy a Victorian tea party, explore the world of archaeology, create their own exhibit and so much more while exploring the major historical and cultural sites found in Auburn.
The Hands-On History Camp will be held from July 22-26 from 8:30-12:30 each day. The grand opening of the campers’ created exhibit will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, July 28 at the Equal Rights Heritage Center. All family members are welcome to attend. Camp costs are $100 per camper, with scholarships available. Contact Kate Grindstaff at outreach@sewardhouse.org to reserve your camper’s spot or ask any questions.
