Harriet: A Taste of Freedom Bus Tour

About the Program

Join Curator Larry Poncho Brown for a citywide traveling tour of the newly opened art exhibition Harriet: A Taste of Freedom. Explore the cultural sites of Auburn, NY and see the individual work of over 40 artists who have contributed to this exhibtion celebrating the life and experiences of one of Auburn’s most recognized citizens: Harriet Tubman.

Participants are welcome to join us on a bus tour that will take you to each site, with plenty of opportunities to engage directly with the Curator and some of the featured artists. If you would prefer to join the tour in your own vehicle, please consult the schedule below for each of the featured sites, times, and parking information.

Lunch and parking passes for the Downtown Parking garage are included.

The primary parking space for this tour will be the Downtown Auburn Parking Garage located immediately across the street from the NYS Equal Heritage Center. Those taking the bus tour may leave their cars in the garage. Those who will be following along in their own vehicle will find free parking lots at each of the additional sites featured on the tour. We will provide parking passes as part of your registration to cover paid parking in the garage.
