About the Artist

Harpist Denise Oster has been making music in the Cayuga County area for many years.  She is a retired music educator from the Moravia School District.  In her retirement she has been enjoying teaching music to preschoolers, playing in harp ensembles as well as playing solo harp music for senior centers, libraries and garden parties.  When not plucking her harp Denise plays keyboard in a traditional jazz ensemble and accompanies the Crossroads Choir.

For her informal performance at the Cayuga Museum of History and Art Denise has chosen a program that features something for everyone.  Selections from Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Cold Play, Fleetwood Mac and more traditional Celtic tunes as well “pop” classical harp music will be featured.  She is looking forward to a relaxing evening offering harp music in one of Auburn’s most beautiful settings
