The Cayuga Museum was gifted the hat collection of sisters Rose and Kate Giacolone. They were known to match their Sunday suits and dresses with their hats for church during the 1950s and 1960s.
The Cayuga Museum holds a large clothing and accessories collection with an estimated 120 hats.
The Cayuga Museum of History and Art engages the community to appreciate local history, promotes the arts, and educates individuals about the invention of sound on film through the operation of the Museum, Case Research Laboratory, and Carriage House Theater.
