About the Event

In 1935, inventor Ted Case sold his former home for $1 to a group of local artists looking to create Auburn’s first art museum. In October 1936, the Cayuga Museum of History & Art was opened to the public, making our organization the longest enduring Museum in the city. On October 10, 2026 we invite you to celebrate our 90 years of service in the community!

The party will feature light refreshments and a cash bar with beer, wine, and a specialty 90th Anniversary drink. Be sure to check out the silent auction of donated artwork from artists who were featured in our CNY Emerging Artist Project over the years. Be a part of supporting the Cayuga Museum for another 90 years!
