Haley Indorato’s exhibition People Seen, Places Been features oil painting’s tradition of depicting people, places, and things observed from everyday life. Her work is mostly based in figurative art and Western Art History, often concerning myself with questions of representation and narrative.

Sa:gwá yo’ Gayogohó:nǫ’ / Cayuga People, We Returned


Sa:gwá yo’ Gayogohó:nǫ’ / Cayuga People, We Returned focuses on the Gayogo̱hó:nǫˀ experience of diaspora from and return to their homelands. This exhibition calls on artworks, audio, video, artifacts, and archival documents across the Hodinǫhsǫ́:nih Confederacy to bridge the circumstances of Gayogo̱hó:nǫˀ displacement, diaspora, and homecoming with a deeper appreciation of Gayogo̱hó:nǫˀ place, society, and politics, as well as historic and contemporary modes of cultural expression.

Harriet: A Taste of Freedom

Harriet: A Taste of Freedom exhibits the life and legacy of Harriet Tubman through the work of more than 30 artists in a variety of media. Curated by artist Larry Poncho Brown, the exhibition debuted in 2025 at the Harriet Tubman Freedom Center in Cambridge, Maryland, and now comes to Auburn, New York. In Auburn, the exhibition will be featured across multiple sites including the Cayuga Museum of History and Art, Schweinfurth Art Center, Equal Rights Heritage Center, Seward House Museum, and Willard Memorial Chapel.
